White Papers

Longer-form technical papers on onsite hypochlorous acid generation, each stating its evidence, its assumptions and its limits.

Longer-form technical papers for people evaluating onsite hypochlorous acid generation. Each one sets out the operational case, the evidence with its conditions and its sources, the cost model with its assumptions shown, and the limitations — and each states on its cover exactly what it does and does not claim.

What these papers will and will not say

  • Our systems are devices that produce a hypochlorous acid solution on site. They are regulated by the EPA as devices and carry no efficacy claims, and we make none for them.
  • Research is presented as research — the laboratory named, the organism, the method, the conditions and the contact time, with the report linked so you can read it rather than take our summary of it.
  • Documented disinfection claims come from a registered product used according to its label — HOCl-AS200, EPA Reg. No. 101112-1 — and from nowhere else.
  • Cost figures are our own data and are labelled as such, with the assumptions behind any scaling shown on the page.
  • Every paper says what the approach does not fix. One that only lists advantages is a brochure.

In preparation

Papers for other sectors are being written to the same standard, and will appear here as they are finished: food processing, seafood, agriculture and produce, and hospitality. If one of those would be useful to you before it is published, the sanitation audit produces the same analysis for your own site, in writing, at no cost.

Other downloads

The downloads page also carries the HOCl Compliance Pack — ten pages of checklists, SOP and log templates, and label and regulatory quick references. The safety data sheets are alongside them.
