Documentation for the Micro — the pocket-sized USB generator that makes a fresh hypochlorous acid solution from a glass of tap water and a pinch of salt.
Available manual
User Manual
What you need before you start, the ten steps from tap water to finished solution, care and storage, and the specifications. Three pages, PDF.
What the manual covers
Everything the Micro needs before you start — 300 ml of tap water, about a gram of salt, an optional millilitre of 5% white vinegar and any USB charger or power bank — then the ten illustrated steps from filling the cup to putting the device back in its bag. It gives the concentration to expect after ten minutes, how long the solution keeps, and how to rinse and store the unit afterwards.
The back page carries the safety notes, the list of things people use it for, and the specifications: power, charger, dimensions and packed size.
Before you start: use plain table or kitchen salt without additives where you can, and keep the finished solution out of sunlight and away from heat. That is what makes it last the week rather than the day.
About the Micro
The Micro is the smallest generator EcoloxTech makes and the only one that needs no installation. For the systems that plumb in, see the EcoloxTech 300 and EcoloxTech 1200 manuals, or read how the three compare on the electrolyzers page.
Other downloads
The downloads page carries the HOCl Compliance Pack, the white papers and the safety data sheets.
