Why Cruise Lines Are Abandoning Traditional Sanitizers in 2026

The cruise industry operates at a scale that magnifies every operational decision. The Old Model Was Designed for a Different World

The damage was cumulative and expensive. After one aggressive outbreak response, Norwegian Cruise Line discovered that the chemicals used to clean the ship had caused more damage than the outbreak itself. Repair costs exceeded the sanitation costs.
